This Service-Learning (SL) was a 3 session programme which we collaborated with children in Admiralty Student Care Service Centre. Our programme emphasized on identifying and recognizing emotions so as to increase the self-awareness of children from low-income families and prevent the likelihood of depression and anxiety. It was inspired by the emotions from the movie 'Inside Out' and we focused on the emotions - anger, sadness, fear and joy.

As a person who loves interacting with children, carrying out this programme had been really fun and fulfilling! I loved the energy of the children and I am impressed by their ability to focus on our activities and grasp our concept despite their young age. My favourite moment with them was during the free-and-easy relaxation station activity and I loved seeing the creative side of the children as they created objects with the play-doh! Interestingly, each session was unique and these are some of the highlights of our programme :-)
